We can meet most scanning and digital capture needs, including bulk-scanning to pdf, large format scanning for fine art reproduction, engineering and mapping purposes, and professional digital capture of original artwork or memorabilia. These services are suited to anyone interested in reproducing and/or archiving important documents or artwork. We offer full archival services for historical societies that are interested in preserving their historical treasures in a digital format and/or having them prepared for print and web purposes. Art Catalogs
Whether we design and print or just handle the printing, art catalogs are our main product. After years of experience and doing several each month, we simply produce them faster, more affordably and better than any one else. Our goal is to listen carefully to the design needs of our customers to produce simple, clean layouts that feature the art itself. Getting color as close to your original art as technologically possible is what we do best. We offer saddle stitched, soft bound and hard bound catalogs in quantities as low as 50 and as high as 5000. We like to have 2 to 3 weeks to produce the average catalog and produce both a digital and press proof for your final approval.
Cards and Mailing Services
While offering the same low pricing as online “card mills,” we offer more thorough color proofing and you are not bound to a standard size or quantity. Even the smallest order of note cards, post cards, rack cards or invitations is affordable.
We are on a schedule for many of our museums, historical societies and gallery customers to design, proof, print, address and bulk mail (at first class and nonprofit rates) invitations, newsletters, cards or show announcements on a regular basis. Our clients rest easy knowing that each mailing goes out on time and is carefully proofed for color and content. Our customers save time and money because we address as we print and handle the details of mailing list management, addressing, postage and mailing all under one roof.

Newsletters & Brochures
One of the joys being able to offer affordable full-color printing and design is that we have been able to help several of our customers change over from a rather bland 2-color newsletter to a full color, creative and fresh-looking newsletter for close to the same cost (or less costs in some cases). We design, print, address and bulk mail quarterly newsletters for historical societies as large as The Maine Historical Society and the Penobscot Marine Museum to smaller organizations such as The Waldoboro Historical Society who require smaller, affordable black and white newsletters.
We also design and print a variety of brochures for our historical societies and existing newsletter clients. These come in all sizes and employ simple, creative designs for both digital and offset presses.

Posters & Calendars
While most digital on-demand posters come in the standard size of 11 x 17 or smaller, our larger 14 x 22 maximum-sized posters offer a more elegant presentation and are affordable in quantities from 25 to 2500. Our digital posters can be printed on almost any stock available and we usually complete poster design in an hour or less. Simple and elegant work does not need to cost more and we are glad to follow your suggestions to get the design you are looking for. We also produce custom-made calendars.
Churches & Historical Societies
Part of our company mission is based on what we have learned about the unique needs of smaller historical societies and churches that are in the process of publishing a book of church or local history. We offer hands-on help either by phone, internet or in person at every stage of the process: scanning and restoring old photos, editing, proof reading, type-set and graphic design or just printing and binding. Whether it is hard bound, soft bound, black and white, color, small or large quantities, we have the fast, affordable and elegant solution.
Self Published Books
Word of mouth travels quickly in the state of Maine. Our lower prices and hands-on consulting attracts several self-publishing authors each year. Our goal for all our authors is to produce their books as fast and efficiently as possible and to guide them in the process of self-publishing and owning all the rights and royalty from the sales of their books. We offer personal book marketing plans, cooperative sales, bookstore fufillment, invoicing and a free trade catalog for self-publishing authors at our subsidiary Maine Authors Publishing & Cooperative.
